TASK 1

Choose the correct form in parentheses, and then give the reason.
1) Rita plays the violin (good/well)
2) That is an (intense/intensely) novel.
3) Your cold sounds (terrible/terribly).
4) The table has a (smooth/smoothly) surface.
5) We don’t like to drink (bitter/bitterly) tea.

ANSWERS
1) Well. Because the sentence explains how the violin is played. So we use adverb (well) instead of adjective (good).
2) Intense. The sentence explains the nature of the novel. So we use adjective (intense) instead of adverb (intensely).
3) Terrible. The sentence explains how badly he/she has a cold. So we use adjective (terrible) instead of terribly (adverb).
4) Smooth. The sentence explains whether the table surface is smooth or rough. So we use adjective (smooth) instead of adverb (smoothly).
5) Bitter. The sentence explains the flavour of tea. So we use adjective (bitter) instead of adverb (bitterly).


TASK 2

Write a paragraph why you are deserved to get A for this subject.

ANSWERS
Why do I deserved to get A for this subject? Because I can do the tasks that have been given by the lecturer. The lecturer is quite clear when explaining, the learning material is quite easy to find on Google and easy to understand, so I can do the tasks easily.

BAB I PENDAHULUAN A.    LATAR BELAKANG Disini kami menulis tentang SEJARAH PERKEMBANGAN HARDWARE & SOFTWARE untuk mengetahui bagaimana berkembangnya perangkat hardware dan software dari waktu ke waktu hingga sampai saat ini. FENOMENA MASUKNYA BUDAYA ASING KE INDONESIA

Budaya asing yang masuk ke Indonesia membawa dampak yang sangat besar dalam kehidupan generasi muda saat ini. Tidak semua budaya asing membawa dampak positif bagi generasi muda saat ini,untuk itu kita sebagai generasi muda harus dapat memilah-milah budaya asing yang masuk ke indonesia. Dalam menyikapi kebudayaan yang masuk kita harus berupaya menanggulanginya agar jati diri kita sebagai anak bangsa tidak rusak. Banyaknya tindak kejahatan yang terjadi saat ini juga tidak lepas dari budaya asing yang masuk, tindak kriminal, narkoba,tawuran, perkosaan, pergaulan bebas terjadi karena generasi muda kita meniru kebudayaan asing yang menurut mereka sudah tidak tabu lagi untuk diikuti. Inilah fenomena yang terjadi pada generasi muda kita saat ini akibat tidak bisa memilah budaya asing yang masuk.Dalam hal ini pemerintah dan juga kita sebagai generasi muda mulai saat ini, jangan begitu saja menerima budaya asing yang masuk agar generasi muda Indonesia tidak hancur dan kita semua
